Supporting Local Charities
We support a wide variety of charites, each of which are chosen by our staff on an annual basis.
This year (2010-2011) we are pleased to be supporting the Highland Hospice, the only local
hospice serving adults with incurable life-limiting disease in the Highlands of Scotland.
It is acknowledged as the centre of specialist paliative care expertise in the region and currently
provieds a 10 bed In-Patient Unit in Inverness and Day Hospice on the same site.

2009-2010: Highland Hospice. Funds raised totalled £1600
In addition, several of our staff have been sponsored by Jacobite to undertake volunteer projects abroad,
providing valuable skills which these countries would normally struggle to afford.

In February 2009, Jennifer travelled to Guatemala to help in an orphanage for autistic kids.

In February 2010, Lorna travelled to Zanzibar to teach local kids English.

In February 2011, Ali is going to Cambodia to teach music/sport to kids in an orphanage.
