Highland Science Festival on the Jacobite Queen 13/11/2007

Much debate has focused on whether or not there is a monster in Loch Ness. But for the past century and a half there have been sightings in the waters off Orkney and Shetland of creatures which seem to be remarkably similar.
During this unique event on the Jacobite Queen geneticist Dr. Yvonne Simpson will review the evidence and reports on the search for a possible sample of body tissue; Adrian Shine will look at the physical aspects of the loch itself.

Tickets for the event can only be booked directly through the Highland Science Festival or through The Booth online (Booking line 08000 328080) or on board before departure (cash only). Departure time for the Jacobite Queen is 14.00 from Tomnahurich Bridge in Inverness. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to give you time to get on board.
