Facts on Loch Ness.... from the US!

Just noticed a blog post from someone who seems to be located in the US and asked the following question:

Hi. I am planning on visiting Scotland and Ive always wanted to see the Loch Ness lake  and I was wondering how far is it from Inverness and how to get to the lake. Thank you.
