These two boat trips leave directly from the Clansman Harbour at the Clansman Hotel. You will need a car to get here. We don’t recommend relying on public transport for these trips – we’ve heard too many stories of buses failing to stop or forgetting to collect people.

And if you use a car sat nav system to plan your trips here’s a small word of warning. For reasons we’ve not quite been able to fathom yet - and if anyone does know the answer please tell us- tapping in the post code for the Clansman Hotel (IV3 8LA if you’re interested) will have you heading into the hills near a charming little village called Abriachan.

So while it’s a lovely place it’s the wrong place – or it is if you’ve booked one of our cruises.

Getting to the Clansman Harbour:

If you’re coming from Inverness – and you take your starting point as the outskirts of the city - the Clansman Hotel is about 9 miles on the main A82. It’s on the right hand side of the road and is easy to spot.

If you’re travelling from the Fort William direction the Clansman is 4 miles from Drumnadrochit.

Our tours leave from the harbour. You’ll find this by going through a small underpass next to the Clansman car park. You can leave your car here and the parking is free. 

Things tend to get very busy during Easter, July and August so we’d urge you to arrive in plenty of time.
