Tour description
Travel from Inverness into the heart of the Highlands on a coach and boat tour that brings together the stories, scenery and legends of Loch Ness. Departing from Inverness city centre bus station, you’ll enjoy a guided coach journey alongside the loch, with your driver-guide sharing insights into the area’s rich and often dramatic past.
You’ll then step aboard a scenic one-way cruise on Loch Ness before spending an hour exploring the atmospheric ruins of Urquhart Castle. Castle entry is included, giving you time to wander the grounds, and soak up the views.
After your visit, a short bus journey takes you to the Loch Ness Centre. Here, you’ll learn more about the history of the loch and the long-running fascination with its most famous resident. The day concludes with a coach journey back to Inverness.
On Sundays the tour will last approximately 30 minutes longer - so the tour will be 4 and a half hours on Sundays.
