Cruise the Loch and visit a castle on this coach and boat tour that transports you directly from Inverness city centre to the legendary Loch Ness. You’ll learn everything there is to know about the stirring past of these famous shores as you relax on our guided coach tour. Then it’s time to hop on board a cruise across the Loch’s world-famous waters, including a one-hour visit to snoop around the once mighty stronghold of Urquhart Castle. Once you have explored the ruins of Urquhart Castle, sit back and relax on your return coach journey to Inverness. 

The Temptation tour is operated by Highlander Ways D&E Coaches.

Tour Breakdown:

- Depart Inverness bus station, your driver guide will take you to Dochgarroch Lock Harbour. 
- Enjoy a 1hr cruise sailing through the man-made part of the Caledonian Canal into the deepest waters of Loch Ness. 
- Hop ashore and explore the historic Urquhart Castle - you have one hour 
- Make your way to the upper coach car park to meet your coach driver and head back to Inverness.

  • Please note that during winter service from November to March, due to Urquhart Castle early closure and limited daylight hours the afternoon Temptation tour joins 25min sailing from the Clansman Harbour.
