FAQs

General enquiries

IS THERE WIFI AVAILABLE ON BOARD?

Yes, there's FREE WiFi on board. But we really don't recommend surfing on Loch Ness!

ARE PETS ALLOWED ON BOARD?

We welcome dogs on board our cruise only options, however they must be booked on at the checkout free of charge.

We allow a maximum of 5 dogs on board per cruise.

*Please note that there can be more than one tour on each boat and there is no guarantee that there will be no dogs on board at your time of sailing*

E-CHARGING POINTS

We currently do not have any E-charging facilities at either of our departure points.

The closest charging facility to Dochgarroch Lock is "PodPoint", which is situated at Dochfour Business Centre - approx 4 miles.
There is also "Charge Place Scotland" on Kilvean Road approx 8 miles from Dochgarroch.

DO YOU HAVE TOILETS ON BOARD?

Yes, you'll never get caught short while sailing the length of the loch!

CAN I BUY SOMETHING TO EAT ON BOARD?

We serve a selection of Scottish produce, hot and cold drinks, light snacks and a wee dram from our bar. But please, do not feed the monster!

DO I NEED TO BOOK?

To avoid disappointment you really should, especially in summer. And it's very easy to do at www.jacobite.co.uk.

Remember that even though those under 5 go free on our cruise and cruise & castle options, they still require a ticket.

WHEN CAN I CRUISE WITH JACOBITE?

Loch Ness by Jacobite operates 12 months of the year.

We leave Nessie in peace on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Our team will take a well-deserved break for one week in January and the business will close.  This will be from the 8th of January - 14th of January 2024.

CAN I MANAGE MY BOOKING ONLINE?

Yes, you can amend the date/time of your cruise or cancel your cruise via your confirmation booking.

If you scroll through your confirmation email, you will see "manage my booking" or "cancel my booking". This will then take you on a step-by-step guide on how to complete your task.

If you would rather speak with a member of the team, or if you are having any trouble, please email hello@jacobite.co.uk and we will do our best to help.
