A Law of Protection for the Loch Ness Monster

The strange letter, dispatched to the Under State for Scotland at The Scottish office in Whitehall, was sent by Chief Constable of The Inverness-shire constabulary – Mr. William Fraser.

Nessie was no longer a myth. She was in fact a reality and with curiosity growing by the day the local police force felt it was only necessary that a law was put into practice to ensure the protection of her. Mr. Fraser believed there was enough evidence to support this stating

“…That there is some strange creature in Loch Ness, seems now, beyond doubt”

So, there we have it! August 15th, 1938 the day where mystery became a part of history and the legend of the Loch Ness Monster lived on.
